An Open Letter From A Child Sponsor to World Vision Community: ‘We will get through this, soon’

Good day!

How are you all? I hope you are all doing well!

We are facing an unknown enemy which we called coronavirus or COVID19. It spread all over the world faster than we thought. It only proves how highly contagious it is. The Philippines, especially Luzon, is currently in enhanced community quarantine to contain the spread of virus.

I’m now working in Riyadh as a health care worker. We also have the same situation here. And as a frontliner and a child sponsor in World Vision, I would like to extend my thoughts to all of you there. I want to remind you to stay safe and healthy. Boost your immune system, observe proper hand washing and cough etiquette, extra protection for those who have an existing health condition (hypertension, diabetes, respiratory problems), eat healthy, drink a lot of water and take vitamins, get enough sleep, stay at home and don’t panic. Most especially, above all, always pray, as it is the most powerful antidote we can ever have.

My prayers and deepest thoughts to all the staff, community, children and to their families in this hard times. We will get through this, soon. This too shall pass.
