World Vision honors corporate partner Flexi Finance Asia; awards One For Children seal
Cebu City – World Vision Development Foundation awarded the One For Children seal to Flexi Finance Asia, Inc. during a Project Salute ceremony held last July 9, 2019. WVDF Associate Director for Visayas Operations Ernesto I. Macabenta and Corporate Engagement Specialist Rafael Quimel handed over the plaque, which in turn was received by Richard Lorincz, the Chief Marketing Officer of Flexi Finance Asia, along with some of the company staff.
Flexi Finance, a member of a global financial family, established its Philippines office in Cebu City in 2015 with the focus of providing accessible, affordable and fair consumer financing in the market.
“We feel a strong responsibility to help communities in the Philippines. We decided to focus on helping children, especially in their education. We are glad to partner with World Vision who helps us realize our commitment,” said Lorincz.
The partnership between WVDF and Flexi Finance was officially inked last 2018 and has been fruitful. Flexi Finance is sponsoring 16 children who are now directly benefitting from World Vision’s development programs. In December last year, the company donated more than 900 Noche Buena gifts to families and last May, back-to-school kits (school bag and school supplies) were donated to more than 500 children. Flexi Finance staff also volunteered during a Brigada Eskwela activity.
“We recognize and commend Flexi Finance Asia for their contribution in transforming the lives of the most vulnerable Filipino children,” Quimel shared.
