Holistic child development and quality learning opportunities decline due to the closure of schools across the country, children are put at risk. At the same time, wage-earners who are forced out of work due to the lockdown are in danger of decreased income or unemployment. Access to food has also diminished due to reduced purchasing power and food supply availability.
