Making every step count

On June 23, 2021, TELUS International Philippines officially turned over Php1,033,097.00 worth of donation to World Vision and the Department of Education’s Abutin Na10 Campaign.

The donation was raised through the TELUS Days of Giving Virtual Run, a corporate event that ran from May 1 to May 31. More than 2,300 TELUS International Philippines team members volunteered to join the fundraiser and completed a combined distance of 35,000km. The donation will be used to distribute kinder modules in World Vision’s area programmes in North Cebu and Haven of Rest II.

“Thank you, Telus officers, employees, and all virtual runners for partnering with World Vision in helping children’s education especially during this time through the Abutin Na10 campaign,” WVDF National Director Rommel V. Fuerte said. “You are making a big difference. Together, we bring hope, joy, and justice for all children.”

“Abutin Na10, Para sa Sampung Milyong Mag-aaral: Sampung Piso, Sampung Araw, Sampung Milyong Filipino” is a fundraising campaign led by World Vision and DepEd. It is aimed to support the education agency’s learning continuity plan through the production and distribution of learning packets and activity sheets.
