World Vision Ambassador Janina Vela Celebrates Her Birthday with Children in Batangas

World Vision Ambassador and child sponsor Janina Vela celebrated her birthday in a heartfelt and inspiring way—by spending it with children from World Vision’s Batangas Area Program.

Welcomed by 30 children, ages 9 to 10, Janina brought laughter, encouragement, and creativity to the day’s celebration. Her presence reminded the children that they are seen, loved, and full of purpose.

One of the most meaningful parts of the day was a clay molding activity led by Janina. Through it, she shared a powerful message of identity and faith—encouraging the kids to see themselves as works of art, lovingly shaped by God. As they molded clay into different forms, they reflected on how each creation, just like them, is uniquely crafted and deeply valued.

The celebration continued with games, music, dancing, a shared meal, and a touching surprise: birthday cards made by the children just for Janina. The day ended with gift-giving and photo moments filled with smiles and gratitude.
