World Vision receives award for exemplary service in Batangas

World Vision in Rosario, Batangas recently received recognition for its contributions in the community for 11 years. World Vision, represented by Program Manager Douglas Chua, received the “Dangal ng Rosario” award last June 8, which coincided with the 336th founding anniversary of the municipality of Rosario. World Vision has been a government and community partner in various programs that promote water, sanitation and hygiene, education, sustainable livelihood for families, as well as for strengthening capacities of organizations at the community level. The “Dangal ng Rosario” is given to several individuals who exemplified in the field of education, the military, sports, and business, among others.
