Sponsor A Child | Jasmine Curtis-Smith’s first meeting with her World Vision Sponsored Children

After more than five years of being a child sponsor and World Vision ambassador, award-winning actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith finally got the chance to meet four of her five sponsored children through World Vision.

Jasmine and her sponsored children Shula, Marife, Edelyn, and John spent a day in Skyranch to bond over food, rides, and games.

In an Instagram post, Jasmine disclosed how meeting her sponsored children felt. “We got to chat about school, family, as well as their dreams and goals in life. I also got to share a bit of me with them not just as their sponsor but as their extended ate that will always be here for them.”

To cap the day, Shula, Marife, Edelyn, and John each shared personal letters addressed to Jasmine. “I would like to thank you for all your help. My wish for you po is good health. Always be safe po. I promise that I will not waste the opportunity that World Vision has given to me,” Edelyn shared.

“After what felt like a short 5 years of contributing to the wonderful works of World Vision, this is the fruit of it all: secured education kids can look forward to finishing without the worries of lacking financial resources,” Jasmine wrote. “This is our amazing role as a child sponsor, encouragers of education and supporters of the future generation.”
