Change starts with one child. Be one for children.

Sponsor a child in and help change a life

The best way to help a child overcome poverty and injustice is to help his community become a better place to grow up in. For a monthly giving of  P750, you will help provide children, families and communities with access to: nutritious food, clean water, education, health care, livelihood opportunities and more.

As a World Vision sponsor, you can be part of one child’s remarkable journey because what you are doing is more than just a ‘hand out,’ it’s a ‘hand up,’ giving children and families the hope to change their lives.

Naniniwala ako that World Vision has a very strong vision to change the world. Ang daming OFW’s na alam kong kaya nilang tumulong, and I want them to also feel that they can change other people’s lives.

The reason why I’m here is because I want people to realize that for you to be blessed, for you to call your blessing a really true blessing, you have to share it with other people.

(It’s) never a question of whether you have more or less, it’s about (your) intention...your purpose.

The most fulfilling for me would be the times I get a letter from my (sponsored) child. Actually the first time I got a letter, I cried. I was surprised by the emotion that it brought out in me. I would encourage everyone else to really take a moment and try to, even if you don’t really know them, remember them and send them the love and positivity and your prayers. I think that’s a world of difference, not the 750 pesos monthly.

One thing that made me really be committed about it is knowing that God also does not change his mind when He blesses me. So, kung Siya consistent, bakit ako hindi pwedeng subukan kong maging consistent. I’ve always felt that I have more than enough and this little amount that I can share with a child or two would certainly make a big difference in their lives. You are planting a seed to be able to improve somebody else’s life.

    Your sponsorship donation changes lives

By sponsoring a child, you, along with thousands of other Filipinos, are helping break the cycle of poverty for children in the Philippines. Together we can make a change.

When you sponsor a child, your monthly sponsorship of P750 gift provides one special child — and his or her community — life-changing basics like:

    • nutritious food
    • clean water
    • access to healthcare
    • access to education

    Feel the joy of Sponsorship!

You get to see your sponsored child and their community reach their full potential! You will be helping not just a child but also their family and community

Once you become a child sponsor, we will help you create a one-on-one relationship with them.
Within the first seven days of your sponsorship, you’ll receive a welcome kit from us. It will provide you information about your sponsored child.

You will also be receiving an annual progress report to keep you up to date with your child's progress.  It has information about their community, including photos, so you can find out more about how your child lives – giving you a real glimpse into their world.
You can also send a letter to your child, introducing you and your family to them. You can write to him or her as often as you like.
