#ReadySetHope ARMYs for Education 2025

There’s a fresh, uplifting energy running through the BTS fandom as members of one of the world’s most popular boy groups have completed their military service and are returning home. Riding on this wave of enthusiasm, fans are channeling their collective hope and passion into meaningful action.

In the Philippines, BTS Army PH is making waves—this time by supporting children in partnership with World Vision. Just as BTS has inspired millions globally, BTS Army PH aims to pay it forward by uplifting thousands of underprivileged children nationwide.

Founded in 2019, BTS Army PH began as a club for fellow ARMYs—sharing updates, organizing events, and engaging in charity. Founder and head admin Gerry Jane Gabuna, who worked as an OFW from 2017 to 2022, explains how it came together: “BTS was there even when they didn’t know me. I felt they heard my heart. Their songs and speeches—especially about self‑love and mental health—really struck me. They said, ‘You’re doing well. You’re enough. Don’t give up.’ During a time when I felt alone, they became my strength, helping me rise again.”

Since 2022, BTS Army PH has joined forces with World Vision for campaigns like Abutin Na10, their Back‑to‑School drive, and the Severe Tropical Storm Kristine relief effort. Over four years, the group has raised more than P90,000—supporting vulnerable Filipino children, families, and communities.

“My dream for our fandom is simple: that we continue to be a bridge of hope. Even in small ways, we can share goodness in the world—because that’s what BTS taught us. We don’t need fame to make a difference; sometimes a generous heart and a loving fandom are enough,” Gerry shares.

Whether you’re an individual fan, a group, or part of a larger fandom, you can spread joy in honor of your idol. Show them how much their message inspires you—and the world. Let’s build more empowered communities together!
