Through our partnership with Petron Foundation, Inc., Petron fuels the education of 6,000 children in Metro Manila and Mindanao since 2007. These are less privileged children in Grades 1-6 from public elementary schools.
Aside from sending children to school, Tulong Aral ensures that the scholars have good health, and good academic achievement. Parents are also engaged and understand the importance of education in their children’s future. With this holistic approach, the program helps children stay in school, keep them there and do well. Thus, children are more fueled for their love of learning & fueled to reach their dreams.
SEAOIL Philippines, Inc., through SEAOIL Foundation, Inc. and World Vision Development Foundation, has pledged to sponsor the preschool, grade school, and high school education of 35 children from various parts of Cebu, Negros, Batangas, and Manila.
Right in time for the back to school season in 2009, Unilever launched the Lady’s Choice “Lunchbox of Hope” Project with Robinson’s Supermarket. This project supports 57 children in Cavite. This initiative succeeded with regular promotional sales (eg. Red Apple Sale, Surf Piso Sale) where World Vision is still their CSR partner.
AppNexus’ resources help community partners like World Vision thrive and build engagement opportunities, They are providing free ad impressions and helping us boost our brand awareness programs. WVPH’s employees were also given special lectures about technical expertise and display ad network.
