Financial Accountability

At World Vision, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do — because we recognize that every resource entrusted to us can transform children's lives.

Resources are optimized and distributed where they are needed the most.  We carefully monitor and review programs and costs, use donations and grants for their intended purposes, and look for ways to leverage funds for maximum impact.

World Vision works to contribute in deepening the impact on child well-being through its programs being implemented on the ground including advocacy, education, health and nutrition, disaster risk reduction and management, values formation and economic development support for their families.

Working with children has always been our first priority, especially the most vulnerable. We empower them together with their families and communities to improve and sustain their well-being through World Vision’s programs and projects in 44 area programs in 34 provinces nationwide.

In addition, we continually strive to keep our overhead rate low. In 2015, 94 percent of our total operating expenses were used for programs that benefit children, families, and communities in need here in the Philippines.

This has earned the trust and support of donors, churches,  corporations, institutions, and government agencies not only in the Philippines but also around the globe.
