Help Mayon Volcano evacuees

As Mayon Volcano continues to show unrest, World Vision in the Philippines launches an emergency response to complement the government-led response and provide urgent aid to at least 2,000 families or 10,000 people. Families living within the volcano’s permanent danger zone have taken temporary shelter in 74 evacuation centers to avoid casualties. More than 39,000 children from 49 schools are also affected by the volcano’s unrest.

Despite the precautions, residents are in immediate need of emergency items to aid their recovery.

World Vision aims to assist the displaced families by providing hygiene kits (bath and laundry soaps, toothbrushes and toothpastes, sanitary packs, nailcutter, underwears and malong), non-food items (mosquito net, blanket and mat), face masks, and drinking water.

Your donation will be used to provide the continuing needs of children and families displaced by the Mayon Volcano eruption.
