Malabon Youth Join IT Literacy Training by Nexus Technologies and World Vision

After a five-year pause, Nexus Technologies, Inc. and World Vision Philippines once again teamed up to empower young people through technology. Thirty senior high school students from Malabon participated in the IT Literacy Trainingheld on October 4 and 11, 2025, at the Nexus Center in Makati.
The two-day learning event introduced participants to the fast-evolving digital world, with sessions on Internet of Things (IoT), Generative AI, E-Commerce and Digital Entrepreneurship, Data Privacy, and Digital Media.
For years, Nexus Technologies has been a faithful partner of World Vision’s Child Sponsorship program. Before the pandemic, their team conducted yearly digital skills workshops for World Vision–assisted children—helping them build confidence and curiosity in technology. This year marks the long-awaited return of that meaningful partnership.
The training ended on a high note with the awarding of Certificates of Completion and recognition for the Best Capstone Project. The top prize went to Aroma Veritas, an innovative AI sommelier concept created by one of the student groups.
The activity continues the spirit of Nexus Technologies’ 2019 initiative, where volunteers trained children from Batangas in basic software and coding—proof of their lasting commitment to equipping the next generation with tools for a digital future.
