MAC Management Group Trains Young Leaders, Sponsors Children with World Vision Philippines

World Vision Philippines and MAC Management Inc. gathered at What Matters Coworking + Playlab for a day dedicated to nurturing the leaders of tomorrow, on February 21 (Saturday).
The Project Management Workshop was designed to be more than just a seminar. It was a roadmap for students to navigate their academic lives and future careers with confidence.
“Our work with MAC Management Group shows how corporate engagement can go beyond a one-day activity to create a lasting impact,” shared Freda Agustin, Corporate Volunteer Engagement Specialist, underscoring the value of partnerships that invest in long-term growth.
The sessions, enriched by technical insights from Buildforward Inc., explained what it actually takes to bring a project to life. Students learned that project management is a careful balance—applying specific knowledge and tools to manage time, budget, and scope without sacrificing quality.

Beyond technical skills, the workshop emphasized personal growth and leadership. Engr. Jommel Macabagdal, CEO of MAC Management Inc., encouraged students to see themselves as their most important project, championing “progress over perfection” and the spirit of “tulungan, hindi turuan” (helping one another, not just pointing the way).
Adding a real-world perspective, Reynold Gayo of Buildforward Inc. shared why safety, clear communication, and documenting what you learn are essential habits, not just for work, but for life. It was a perfect illustration of the old proverb: If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.
The workshop dove into the “seven essentials”: scope, time, cost, quality, communication, risk, and stakeholder management. For those interested in the building world, the speakers also highlighted how modern projects must now prioritize sustainability and safety above all else.
For World Vision, the partnership reflects a deep-rooted commitment to community development. That impact became even more personal as MAC Management officially sponsored four children through World Vision, helping ensure they receive the education and health support they need to thrive.
By blending technical expertise with long-term heart, this collaboration is helping the next generation build a strong foundation for a brighter future.
