National Office Openings

Quality Assurance Specialist for RD

Purpose of the position:

The position aims to provide strategic support the Resource Development Team and Operations in ensuring quality of grants, non-sponsorship and corporate funded projects. It shall help in developing quality proposals, including logical frameworks and feasibility assessment, to ensure appropriateness and relevance of designs. Major processes, such as baseline, evaluation and monitoring, shall be overseen by the person recruited for the position. The position shall also help in product development by analyzing data and translating them to useful information driving evidence-based sourcing.

Major responsibilities:

  • Support the development of proposals, specifically for grants, non-sponsorship or corporate funding.
  • Set-up monitoring system for Grants, Non-sponsorship or Corporate supported Projects.
  • Manage baseline and evaluation of Grants, Non-sponsorship or Corporate funded projects and initiatives.
  • Review Performance Reports for submission to funders.
  • Support product development and innovations through data analytics,

Requirements:

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree on any course related to Social Sciences, Economics as well as substantial work experience on Project Management, Proposal Development/Project Designing, M&E and Technical Writing. Background on statistics and research is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in grant project management, M&E and operations, with a track record in management of grant projects funded by priority donors such as USAID, DFAT, GAC, World Bank, ADB and EU;
  • At least 2 years of experience and demonstrated success in directly managing funding relationships with external agencies and partner organizations;
  • Experience in grant proposal development/ Project Designing with a track record of successful proposal writing for bilateral and multilateral institutional donors resulting in funding acquisition, such as USAID, DFAT Australia, Global Affairs Canada, World Bank, ADB and EU.
  • Experiencing in managing or coordinating consortium or networks of development actors involving funding exchange;
  • Experience in development and managing project finances and budgets;
  • Experience in leading cross-organisational team in development of project designs or similar activities;
  • 2years of experience delivering development programming or operations.

ING Learning Center Project Coordinator

Purpose of the position:

Oversee the management of ING Learning Center including cleanliness and safety of the center.

Major responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of ING Learning Center including cleanliness and safety of the center.
  • Coordinate with the Partners including ING Foundation, World Vision Development Foundation, BINHI Foundation, Local Government Units, Parents Association and other organizations regarding preparation, planning, and implementation of the project.
  • Ensure the smooth flow of tutorial classes and ING Learning Center activities both inside and outside the center.
  • Developed a monitoring and evaluation system (i.e. database) and implementation of program activities of the ING Learning Center of ING Bank Foundation.
  • Regularly monitors the children’s progress during the school term. Facilitates conduct of tutorial intervention such as provision of office and school supplies, daily snacks, and academic counseling to children in crisis.
  • Maintains sound relationship and secures proper feed-backing and communication with partner agencies such as ING Bank Foundation, schools, and Local Government Units.
  • Facilitates organization of parent community leaders and provide them with capacity-building activities and technical assistance to harness their leadership skills. Equips the organized parent association with skills in leadership and organizational development for it’s sustainability as an organized group.

Requirements:

Pro – Futuro Digital Education Project Coordinator

Purpose of the position:

Assure the adequate implementation of the project in field. Give support to the teachers and the accompaniment they need to integrate the technology in class.

Key Objectives:

WVDF – Pro Futuro Digital Education Project Coordinator represents WVDF and is primarily responsible for the quality, timely and effective implementation, integration, contextualization, monitoring and reporting of WVDF – Pro Futuro Digital Education Project in partnership with the Department of Education at the community level. S/He uses the principles, processes, standards and tools of digital education to ensure the WVDF and Pro Futuro intervention contribute to improving children learning outcomes through digital education.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Education, Developmental Studies or related Social Sciences.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in academic IT- related program/project management for NGO.
  • Masters Degree in Educational Management or Information and Communications Technology or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in academic IT- related program/project management for NGO.
  • Experienced in working with local governments, line agencies, churches and other organizations
  • Experienced in facilitating digital education workshop and children activities.
  • Knowledge in digital education curriculum and classroom activities design

International PNS Specialist

Purpose of the position:

Support the successful growth of the Grant Acquisition and Management (GAM) team to help diversify and strengthen WVDF’s funding sources in order to achieve its strategic targets, strengthen its impact, and achieve its vision. Specifically, develops effective relationships with key international Private Non-Sponsorship (PNS – i.e. foundation/corporate) donors and WVI Support Offices (SOs) to identify new PNS funding opportunities. Works together with the GAM Manager and other proposal development team members to write, liaise with Support Offices and develop PNS grant proposals for identified funding opportunities. The International PNS Specialist will also contribute to the team in proactively forging new innovative partnerships in terms of international PNS opportunities.

Key objectives:

Lead the GAM team in developing effective relationships with key international Private Non-Sponsorship (PNS – i.e. foundation/corporate) donors and WVI Support Offices (SOs) in order to identify new PNS funding opportunities. Lead and/or support the Proposal Development Team (PDT) for assigned PNS proposal opportunities (or other grant proposals ad hoc), managing the proposal process – including writing and coordination – through to high quality, responsive submission to the Support Office and/or the donor. Support GAM team initiatives such as streamlining business processes and achieving other goals of the Annual Business Plan.

Requirements:

  • At least bachelors degree in a field related to international development, including economics, health, education or other related fields.
  • At least 2 years experience in grant proposal development with a track record of successful proposal writing for institutional and foundation donors resulting in funding acquisition;
  • At least 2 years experience and demonstrated success in directly managing funding organizational relationships with external agencies and partner organizations;
  • At least 2 years experiencing in developing, leading or coordinating consortium or networks of development actors;

CRM Developer

Purpose of the position:

  • The CRM Developer is responsible for design and development of CRM programs and applications to support and enhance internal applications at World Vision.
  • The CRM Developer must be able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment to develop, enhance and maintain CRM solutions.
  • The CRM developer must be able to work with the business stakeholders to document functional requirements and then design the technical specifications and develop the solution to meet the requirements and stringent unit testing of that functionality.
  • The CRM Developer may also be required to create the functional requirements for smaller projects, and maintenance requests and work with third-party developers

Key objectives:

  • Determine, define, develop, customize and configure Microsoft Dynamics CRM software solutions
  • Test, deploy, document, maintain, update and upgrade CRM solutions
  • Assess and interpret business process rules and requirements.
  • Providing input and advice regarding CRM capabilities and functions to IT and Business Units
  • Contribute as part of the Software Development Team and provide guidance to more junior developers.

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science discipline
  • 5 years’ experience in an information technology role as a developer
  • 3 years’ experience in Dynamics CRM customization and development
  • 3 years’ experience in ASP.Net, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, C#, XML, XLST, Web services and SQL development

Digital Designer

Major activities:

  • Collaborate closely with Business Partners and Creative Solutions to implement changes and edits to print and web materials.
  • Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing.
  • Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.
  • Responsible for applying established branding specifications to ensure work meets brand guidelines.
  • Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field
  • 3+ Years of working experiences in digital media & web development
  • 2+ Years of working experiences in UX Design
  • HTML5 compliant Must be able to work on Mac-based computer.

Full Stack Web Developer

Purpose of the position:

  • Working as a member of the Web Development Team, the Web Developer is responsible for the design and development of internet applications which provide the capability for external donors and partners to initiate transactions on our website that are interfaced into World Vision’s core systems.
  • This includes the understanding of functional requirements and translating same into technical requirements, design and development of the functionality to meet those requirements, and stringent unit testing of that functionality. The Web Developer may also be required to create the functional requirements for smaller projects, and maintenance requests as they relate to the website and internet applications.

Major responsibilities:

  • Technical analysis, design, and models of solutions to meet business needs for our web properties
  • Development of efficient, maintainable applications using industry standard techniques and tools.
  • Estimation of work effort for assigned tasks, and adherence to those estimates.
  • Creating coded tests to ensure that applications and services have automated test coverage
  • Work with other members of the software development team to facilitate seamless communication between systems and French / English sites and applications.
  • Provide business and technical documentation for all applications developed.
  • Participate in design and code reviews with other members of the software development team to ensure high standards and best practices are being used, and that the best solutions are being developed.
  • Provide recommendations on what tools, frameworks, and platforms should be used for solutions being developed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree including Computer Technology courses and/or college diploma in Computer
  • 4 years of experience in web development
  • Technology or equivalent experience.
