National Office Openings

 

 Business Acquisition and Partnership Specialist

Purpose of the position:

Support the successful growth of the Grant Acquisition and Management (GAM) team to help diversify and strengthen WVDF’s funding sources in order to achieve its strategic targets, strengthen its impact, and achieve its vision.  Specifically, works together with the GAM Manager to generate and acquire new business from international bilateral and multilateral donors, taking proactive steps to forge new innovative partnerships, maintain strong donor relationships, and write grant proposals.

Key Objectives:

Manage and grow the WVDF pipeline of bilateral and multilateral grants, working in collaboration with GAM Manager to strengthen the organization’s relationships with bilateral and multilateral donors and WV International Support Offices (SOs). Support the development and implementation of an effective and sustainable WVDF Grants Acquisition Management system. Support and/or lead the Proposal Development Team for assigned proposal opportunities, managing the process through to high quality, responsive submission.

Requirements:

  • At least bachelors degree in a field related to international development, including economics, health, education or other related fieldAt least 5 years experience delivering development programming or operations;
  • At least 2 years experiencing in developing, leading or coordinating consortium or networks of development actors;
  • At least 2 years experience in writing donor or government funding proposals and demonstrated success in securing funding;
  • At least 2 years experience in leading cross-organizational team in the development of project designs or similar activities;
  • Experience and demonstrated success in managing organizational relationships amid challenging circumstances;
  • Experience in developing and managing budgets.

 

International PNS Specialist

Purpose of the position:

Support the successful growth of the Grant Acquisition and Management (GAM) team to help diversify and strengthen WVDF’s funding sources in order to achieve its strategic targets, strengthen its impact, and achieve its vision. Specifically, develops effective relationships with key international Private Non-Sponsorship (PNS – i.e. foundation/corporate) donors and WVI Support Offices (SOs) to identify new PNS funding opportunities. Works together with the GAM Manager and other proposal development team members to write, liaise with Support Offices and develop PNS grant proposals for identified funding opportunities. The International PNS Specialist will also contribute to the team in proactively forging new innovative partnerships in terms of international PNS opportunities.

Key objectives:

Lead the GAM team in developing effective relationships with key international Private Non-Sponsorship (PNS – i.e. foundation/corporate) donors and WVI Support Offices (SOs) in order to identify new PNS funding opportunities. Lead and/or support the Proposal Development Team (PDT) for assigned PNS proposal opportunities (or other grant proposals ad hoc), managing the proposal process – including writing and coordination – through to high quality, responsive submission to the Support Office and/or the donor. Support GAM team initiatives such as streamlining business processes and achieving other goals of the Annual Business Plan.

Requirements:

  • At least bachelors degree in a field related to international development, including economics, health, education or other related fields.
  • At least 2 years experience in grant proposal development with a track record of successful proposal writing for institutional and foundation donors resulting in funding acquisition;
  • At least 2 years experience and demonstrated success in directly managing funding organizational relationships with external agencies and partner organizations;
  • At least 2 years experiencing in developing, leading or coordinating consortium or networks of development actors;
  • At least 2 years experience in leading cross-organizational team in the development of project designs or similar activities;
  • Experience delivering development programming or operations;
  • Experience and demonstrated success in managing organizational relationships amid challenging circumstances;
  • Experience in developing and managing budgets

 

Partnerships Specialist

Purpose of the position:

To deepen organization collaboration with key stakeholders and pursue implementation of holistic, innovative and progressive partnership and direct marketing strategies leading to team funding growth, and supporting the goal and objectives of WVDF with the end in view of creating a continually transforming organization that engages different partners/donors to participate in its child-focused transformational development ministry.

Major responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of daily, weekly & monthly target
  • Attend appropriate Training & Coaching
  • Networking & closing the deal with external key stakeholders to open new doors for child sponsorship acquisition in corporations & associations
  • Coordinate with fellow WV team mates to ensure smooth implementation of employee giving program with corporate donors
  • Conducts donor mapping, targeting and acquiring new partnerships resulting in new child sponsorship acquisition opportunities, focusing on employee giving programs
  • Administrative works like liquidation reports, submission of monthly management reports, etc.

Requirements:

  • With a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or other related courses, with equivalent experience in fundraising and corporate partnerships
  • At least 2 years of substantial experience in fundraising, networking and external relations with current knowledge of fundraising environment, resource mobilization strategies, as well as World Vision work in the Philippines.
  • Strength in public relations, presentation skills, and sales or fundraising.

 

Donor Care Specialist

Purpose of the position:

  • To provide excellent service to sponsors with one pledge
  • To raise active givers, loyal supporters & brand advocates
  • To create a joyful donor experience in every touch point possible

Major responsibilities:

  • Acknowledges and records sponsors/donors’ gifts promptly, specifically and emotionally
  • Promptly responds to sponsors’ concerns and/or requests using the approved business processes
  • Promptly communicates important child updates to the sponsors such as child dropping, child death, child’s graduation, among others
  • Manages and monitors sponsors’ giving commitment every month to make timely reminders and follow ups
  • Actively engages sponsors to either support more children or fund private non-sponsorship projects
  • Initiates at least two cultivation contacts to assigned accounts within the year
  • Regularly gathers important information about sponsors’ interests, preferences, contact details and feedbacks
  • Diligently records every sponsor transaction or contact history on the sponsors’ database
  • Regularly delivers monthly productivity targets set and logs them on the performance tracking system
  • Resolves level one complaints

Requirements:

  • With Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations or other related courses with equivalent substantial experience in relationship marketing and/or key accounts management
  • With Computer Literacy
  • At least 2 years of broad and substantial experience in dealing with contact center customers/donors

HOME-BASED Positions

 

CRM Developer

Purpose of the position:

  • The CRM Developer is responsible for design and development of CRM programs and applications to support and enhance internal applications at World Vision.
  • The CRM Developer must be able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment to develop, enhance and maintain CRM solutions.
  • The CRM developer must be able to work with the business stakeholders to document functional requirements and then design the technical specifications and develop the solution to meet the requirements and stringent unit testing of that functionality.
  • The CRM Developer may also be required to create the functional requirements for smaller projects, and maintenance requests and work with third-party developers

Key objectives:

  • Determine, define, develop, customize and configure Microsoft Dynamics CRM software solutions
  • Test, deploy, document, maintain, update and upgrade CRM solutions
  • Assess and interpret business process rules and requirements.
  • Providing input and advice regarding CRM capabilities and functions to IT and Business Units
  • Contribute as part of the Software Development Team and provide guidance to more junior developers.

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science discipline
  • 5 years’ experience in an information technology role as a developer
  • 3 years’ experience in Dynamics CRM customization and development
  • 3 years’ experience in ASP.Net, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, C#, XML, XLST, Web services and SQL development
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

 

Digital Designer

Major activities:

  • Collaborate closely with Business Partners and Creative Solutions to implement changes and edits to print and web materials.
  • Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing.
  • Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.
  • Responsible for applying established branding specifications to ensure work meets brand guidelines.
  • Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field
  • 3+ Years of working experiences in digital media & web development
  • 2+ Years of working experiences in UX Design
  • HTML5 compliant Must be able to work on Mac-based computer.
  • The successful candidate should be fluent in the Adobe Creative suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, and After FX in particular.

 

Full Stack Web Developer

Purpose of the position:

  • Working as a member of the Web Development Team, the Web Developer is responsible for the design and development of internet applications which provide the capability for external donors and partners to initiate transactions on our website that are interfaced into World Vision’s core systems.
  • This includes the understanding of functional requirements and translating same into technical requirements, design and development of the functionality to meet those requirements, and stringent unit testing of that functionality. The Web Developer may also be required to create the functional requirements for smaller projects, and maintenance requests as they relate to the website and internet applications.

Major responsibilities:

  • Technical analysis, design, and models of solutions to meet business needs for our web properties
  • Development of efficient, maintainable applications using industry standard techniques and tools.
  • Estimation of work effort for assigned tasks, and adherence to those estimates.
  • Creating coded tests to ensure that applications and services have automated test coverage
  • Work with other members of the software development team to facilitate seamless communication between systems and French / English sites and applications.
  • Provide business and technical documentation for all applications developed.
  • Participate in design and code reviews with other members of the software development team to ensure high standards and best practices are being used, and that the best solutions are being developed.
  • Provide recommendations on what tools, frameworks, and platforms should be used for solutions being developed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree including Computer Technology courses and/or college diploma in Computer
  • 4 years of experience in web development
  • Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Version Control and build tools (Git, Node, GULP, GRUNT etc.)
  • Experience with ASP.NET and MVC framework
  • Experience with implementing RESTFul APIs
  • Experience with a variety of technologies and frameworks including
  • Prior experience building responsive web applications
  • Have worked as a part of an Agile or Scrum team

Digital Copywriter

Purpose of the position:

  • The Digital Copywriter is responsible for creating digital marketing materials for digital ads, web (landing pages, microsites and SEO content) and email.
  • Acts as the voice of WVC throughout digital marketing communications channels, aligned to the established brand narrative and digital best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’  digital marketing communications experience; preferably with an international NGO and/or a Christian faith-based organization
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to write digital communications to different audiences
  • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, proofreading, written and verbal communication, and creative skills
  • A strong creative and conceptual thinker with the ability to motivate designers towards innovative solutions
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and competing interests
  • Highly flexible with the ability to adapt well to change
  • A self-starter and problem solver with excellent collaboration skills
  • Experience working in an Agile environment an asset
  • KPI’s to be determined per segment but could include, brand trust score, brand familiarity score, % projects completed on time and within budget, etc.
