From Fun Run to Classrooms: TELUS Digital and World Vision Inspire Learning

PHILIPPINES — TELUS Digital, in partnership with World Vision, recently distributed learning modules and catch-up session guides to more than 15,000 children across Leyte and Samar.
The initiative was made possible through TELUS Digital’s Race for Literacy Fun Run, which successfully raised Php 1.8 million in support of World Vision Philippines’ Abutin Na10 Campaign. The event was held at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
Abutin Na10 Campaign, a fundraising effort led by World Vision in collaboration with the Department of Education (DepEd), seeks to address the distance learning needs of Filipino students in the country.

Thanks to the dedication of TELUS’ Happy Here teams, who remain committed to giving back to communities and expanding access to quality education, thousands of children now have greater opportunities to dream bigger.
“Because of TELUS, we now have new books to read, learn, and enjoy together. Thank you so much,” said five-year-old Yashie.
“As an educator, I am deeply grateful to World Vision and TELUS for inspiring a love of learning in our kindergarten learners and showing them the power of kindness,” shared school teacher Marion.
