More than a year since the Covid-19 pandemic started, the lingering consequences continue to affect many people’s lives especially families living in the poorest and most vulnerable conditions. In all of these, the children have become more at risk in terms of their learning and development due partly to the disruption and inaccessibility to education among millions of students nationwide.
World Vision firmly believes and advocates for the right of every child to quality education. Even in the midst of crisis, the accessibility to education should remain a priority for the sake of the children’s well-being and future.
Despite these challenging times, World Vision’s Back To School campaign aims to help these children reach their full potential. Last year, with your help, we were able to help 64,000 children, and this year, we hope to help even more. By supporting the country’s Learning Continuity Plan, we can raise funds to give students in remote areas school kits, printed modules, and gadgets for learning.
Your donation will translate to:
Php 600 = modules* for 10 children
Php 1,000 = school kits** for 2 children
Php 3,000 = modules for 50 children
Php 5,000 = school kits for 10 children
Together, let us help more young learners build their bright future.
* Module = 1 pc Reading and Writing Preparedness Book for Kinder 1 students
** School Kit = 1 Set of basic school supplies based on the requirements for the child’s grade level (ex. pad paper, notebooks, pencils, crayons, scissors, etc.)
