World Vision, Corporate Partners Celebrate Collaboration for Lasting Change

Corporate companies across the Philippines gathered at this year’s World Vision Corporate Partnerships Forum to strengthen collaboration and celebrate the shared impact of creating lasting change for children and communities.

The three-day event, “The Beacon: Corporate Partnerships Forum 2026” happened from March 17 to 19 at the World Vision Global Center Manila Office in Mandaluyong. The forum brought together 92 representatives from 49 private sector organizations, consisting of current partners and even non-partners alike, to celebrate successful partnerships and more importantly, explore new opportunities to work together in advancing children’s well-being.

Throughout the three days, World Vision presented its new 2026-2030 Country Strategy and Integrated Programming Framework to the participants, focusing on our holistic, sustainable, and adaptable approach to the top threats facing Filipino children today.

The highlight of the forum were the unique topics discussed per day, wherein technical advisers and sector managers presented about World Vision’s initiatives and project models in Education and Climate Action and Disaster Risk Reduction, Health & Nutrition, and Food Security & Livelihood. These were followed by lively and insightful dialogue with the participants.

“As leaders in the corporate industry and in the social development field, you are our most valuable stakeholders. You bring the innovation of the private sector, the efficiency of your industries, and the resources that serve as catalysts for systemic change,” said World Vision National Director Dr. Herbert Carpio during the forum.

“When you partner with us, you are not just donating your time, effort, or your money. You are investing in the Philippine economy. Why? Because you are investing in the future generation,” Carpio added.

The forum also served as a platform for sharing stories of impact as a day was alloted focused on Child Sponsorship and Employee Volunteerism. Bernie Eseo, a pastor at United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP) and previously Corporate Chief Financial Officer of TotalEnergies, as well as Jessriel Coronado of Citibank are both former sponsored children who shared how World Vision’s support early on in their lives allowed them to dream big and succeed. Then Ana Carlos, Corporate Social Responsibility Team Leader at TELUS Digital Philippines shared how working with World Vision through volunteerism activities allows their employees to live out their social purpose and make positive changes in the communities where they live and work.

Rafael Paolo Quimel, World Vision Corporate Partnerships Officer, reaffirmed the important role that strategic partnerships play in addressing the needs of vulnerable children and communities, saying, “Real and lasting change happens when organizations move beyond transactions and invest in relationships. Through this forum, we hope to inspire more companies to see that every act of partnership creates opportunities for children to thrive. Together, we are proving that when the private sector and humanitarian organizations work hand in hand, we can build stronger, more resilient communities for generations to come.”

As the forum concluded, World Vision reaffirmed its commitment to deepening partnerships with the private sector to create sustainable solutions that improve children’s lives. More than a celebration of past achievements, the Corporate Partnerships Forum served as a reminder that every partnership has the power to create opportunities, inspire hope, and transform lives.

Together with its corporate partners, World Vision continues to demonstrate that when businesses, communities, and development organizations unite around a shared purpose, they can create lasting impact and help ensure that every child experiences life in all its fullness.
