Isabela is located on the right-most part of Northern Luzon, facing the Pacific Ocean. The development project is located in Santiago City, Isabela.  Ilocano is most common language spoken.  Agriculture is the major industry in Isabela. Because of its location, it is often hit by typhoons.  Livelihood and income are affected when the crops are washed out by the seasonal rains.  Children’s education is disrupted when schools are used as the main evacuation centers of the affected families.  Whenever a typhoon hits Isabela, World Vision assists families for 6 months or more to help bring back normalcy into their lives.
