World Vision's SEED Program funds economic development initiatives that offer support, tools and training to empower families and communities to work their way out of poverty, from dependence on aid to financial self-sustainability.
World Vision believes that in order to enable the poorest of the poor families to meet their needs, a holistic and effective economic development intervention is of utmost importance.
Enterprise Development and Support on business coaching and practical trainings for off-farm and on-farm activities are provided to World Vision's registered families in its locally-assisted communities in our area development program areas in Cavite, Isabela, Zambales, Palawan, Cebu, Aklan and Misamis Occidental.
This includes the support in technical enterprise development trainings towards a sustainable enterprise development for all aspiring local entrepreneurs. Technology transfer function would include but not limited to the following technical trainings on value chain analysis, feasibility study and business plan development, business development skills training, natural / organic farming technology development, livestock & poultry development, sustainable fishing development, agro-forestry development, Community managed savings and credit association (CoMSCA), and credit management & development.
Your contribution to support World Vision's Enterprise Development efforts will provide the working poor with access to knowledge, capital, markets, and skills training so they can become independent in the long term.
