World Vision-Philippines started the new year with the signing of a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) on strengthening the organization of Local Councils for the Protection of Children (LCPC).
As we observe World Aids Day this year, we stand together as a nation with the rest of the world to demonstrate solidarity against the deadly disease. Only by working hand in hand will we be able to get to zero together. Zero New HIV Infections. Zero Stigma & Discrimination. Zero AIDS Related Deaths.

A jam-packed Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig made a lot of noise against hunger with over 1,300 youth rallying behind World Vision’s “12-hour Famine” anti-hunger campaign. Twelve hours with no food yet the crowd of a thousand strong remained full of energy as they partied with celebrities, volunteers, and fellow hunger-fighters on November 19th. World Vision’s 12-hour Famine youth campaign aims to generate a nation of givers by making them empathize and advocate against extreme hunger caused by poverty that other children in the country experience every day.
